Le CAT I a une capacité de transport de 1 000 passagers en sièges de type avion et dispose de 4 classes de sièges (Super Economy, Economy, Prime Economy, Business) et de 125 véhicules ou de 100 véhicules et 6 autocars. Sa vitesse de service est égale à 30 nœuds. La mise en circulation du H/S/C Cat I a contribué à l’amélioration des services offerts dans le transport maritime, permettant aux à ses passagers de rejoindre quotidiennement, depuis Lavrio et Kea, Kythnos, Serifos & Sifnos.
